Aaron grew up in the mountains of Colorado and later moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin with his family. Many of his childhood familly experiences helped shape his passion for bringing families together.

Aaron's ministry partner is his wife, Jennifer. They moved to Decatur from Madison, Wisconsin in 1997. They began attending DBC and were both saved that same year. They have now been married eight years and have two daughters, Emma age 5 and Anna age 3.

Aaron has served in and led many lay ministries here at DBC.

God has given him a desire in his heart by allowing him to invest his life in the lives of children. He loves to help children experience God through interactive Bible studies, engaging worship and sports of all kinds. Aaron believes in genuine relationships. If the children learn and are a part of genuine relationships, they will have a healthier relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
