The purpose of our Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) is to make the big church small and to encourage everyone to become a spiritually healthy, balanced follower of Christ. Married Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) Groups are a personal connection point in a large church. It is a family friendly place where you can make new friends and grow with them through the stages of life. You will easily connect as you discover family interests, hobbies, and past experiences.
We do not want you to get lost trying to find the right group of friends among our Adult classes. Actually, our goal is to help you find that “group of friends” as soon as possible. They will help you feel a part and help you get involved.
Our groups are divided into sections based on current life experiences primarily based on the status of your family. We focus on this rather than ages as we found there is a strong commonality in your current family life experience.
We also have two Bible Fellowship sessions. We have classes for all ages each session. Most of our classes are coed, but some of them function internally as Ladies and Men’s small groups.
Our prayers are with you as you connect with a new group of friends here at Decatur Baptist. Remember, the Welcome Center located in the Gatheria (our main entrance) is available for directions.
