Connection Student Ministries at Decatur Baptist are here to equip students to biblically face the many challenges they will encounter as they mature. Our goal is that every person that graduates from our ministry will be prepared to enter college, secular or Christian, with the imperative tools to stand on and for biblical truth.

You're growing out of elementary and into junior high... This ministry is designed just for you!

Our Middle School Ministry is designed to provide a solid biblical foundation upon which our seventh and eighth grade students can build and grow. Students will enjoy cool fellowship, build lasting friendships and learn the necessary biblical principles to guide their lives. We offer opportunities for physical, emotional, social, and spiritual development for all students.

The High School Ministry is for students grades nine through twelve. We realize that they are at the peak of their social development; therefore various ministries are provided for social interaction through numerous events and outreach opportunities. We offer monthly care group activities, sports ministry participation, summer camps, annual student retreats, and foreign missions trips that help to give us a well-rounded student ministry with many opportunities for students to serve.

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, then Decatur Baptist Church Student Ministry is just the place for you!

We offer Sunday morning and Sunday night activities for your encouragement and growth. Sunday mornings include an in-depth Bible study with small groups involving other students. Small groups are a great place to connect with others, talk about God's Word, have fun, and learn truth that will better equip you to live the life of a Christian. On Sunday nights, we have large group Bible study. After a great time of worship and praise led by our Student Ministry band, we have a bible study time together where we dig into God's word.
