Acts 1:8 gives us the foundational truth of how we are to do missions.
The key is in the little word “both” which means at the same time. |
We are to reach our Jerusalem (Decatur and surrounding area) and at the same time reach Judea (USA), Samaria (Canada, Latin and South America) and Ends of the Earth (The rest of the World).
One of the Main reasons for God’s blessings on DBC is our commitment to Global Missions.
We must never forget that, “God so loved the world that He gave”….and so must we.

20/20 VISION
- 24 DBC members serving as missionaries. Min. two year project.
- Participate in a mission work or project in all 50 states; Camps, Churches Plants, Discipleship, Construction, Etc.
- Plant 75 churches in U.S.A by partnering with others.
- Plant one church in each of Canada's 3 major cities by partnering with others; Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
- Reach one Unreached or Least Reached people group per year by partnering with others.
- Plant/Birth 50 churches in Samaria and the Ends of the Earth; Samaria - 25 churches, Ends of the Earth - 25 churches.
