STUDENT PASTOR

Cody Hyde serves as the College and Student Pastor at Decatur Baptist. He also leads the Evangelism Ministry.  Cody and his wife, Jodi, have lived in the Hartselle/Decatur area for the past fourteen years. They have two girls, Camryn and Katie Claire.

Cody attended The University of North Alabama on a baseball scholarship and obtained a B.S. in Business Administration. He has worked in banking, finance, and outside sales.  He also has a Master’s Degree in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Cody and Jodi began attending Decatur Baptist Church in late 2011. Cody is passionate about discipleship and evangelism. His desire is to reach students with the gospel of Christ and help them grow in their personal relationship with Jesus.
