Decatur Christmas Parade

The Decatur Christmas Parade takes place every winter in downtown Decatur, spreading joy and holiday cheer. At 6:30 p.m., the parade begins at the intersection of Second Avenue and Gordon Drive. The procession ends at the Old State Bank. The Decatur Christmas Parade features dozens of festive floats, decorated vehicles, community groups, and more.

The tradition of celebrating the magic of Christmas together is cherished by the community. Downtown Decatur is always festively decorated for the holidays. Local businesses participate in the annual Spectacle of Lights, decorating their windows and storefronts. Visitors can look up an interactive map to learn where to see Christmas lights and décor in the downtown area.
